Quilts , Purses, and Embroidery

I started quilting many years ago.  I learned how to hand quilt, and have made quite a few hand quilted quilts.  Recently I got involved into machine quilting.  It is fun, and I am still learning the mechanics of freehand quilting.  I am now doing machine embroidering on a Brothers SE400.  It's fun and I haven't gone through so much thread in such a short period of time, but it' fun.  Now, I am going to do some on my purses...oh yeah, I'm also learning to make purses.. I'm a newly semi retired nurse and am having fun.  My husband and I also do gardening on the side.  We are growing our veggies and herbs.  Life if good.
